Dr. Krishna Patel
(Owner, Pediatric Dentist)
Dr. Krishna was born and raised in New Jersey and now resides in Philadelphia with her family. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed her residency in Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. During her training, she served as Chief Resident and was honored as Resident of the Year for her excellence in leadership and patient care.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Krishna is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care to children of all ages and backgrounds. She stays current with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry and offers a full range of services, including preventive and restorative care, oral surgery, and the facilitation of interceptive orthodontics to support proper dental and facial development.
Dr. Krishna takes pride in creating a welcoming environment at her office where every child feels comfortable, supported, and valued. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cuisines, reading, and practicing meditation. She especially cherishes spending time with her husband and their daughter, Jiya.
Dr. Jack Davies
(Associate, Orthodontist)
Dr. Jack Davies attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated from dental school with multiple honors and received a full scholarship from the United States Navy. He was awarded the Henry B. Robinson Award in Restorative Dentistry and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.
After earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Dr. Davies served as a Lieutenant dentist in the United States Navy. He served a one-year tour at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and a three-year tour at Naval Health Clinic New England, where he assumed the role of Assistant Department Head. During his Naval service, he deployed onboard the USNS Comfort Naval Hospital Ship for a humanitarian medical mission, where he provided dental care to underserved populations in South America and the Caribbean. As a Navy dentist, he was awarded the Humanitarian Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and Armed Forces Service Medal.
Following his active-duty service, Dr. Davies returned to the University of Pennsylvania for a residency program in orthodontics. He earned a specialty certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
His passion for orthodontics stems from his desire to help each patient become all they aspire to be. For Dr. Davies, the best part about orthodontics is meeting new people, getting to know them as individuals, and creating beautiful smiles they are proud to wear.
When not in the office, Dr. Davies enjoys traveling, fitness, running along the Schuylkill River trail, playing volleyball, and trying new restaurants in Philadelphia. Most of all, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
Dr. Yani Rizo
(Associate, Pediatric Dentist)
Dr. Yani Rizo began her dental career in Cuba, where she worked closely with children and quickly discovered her passion for pediatric dentistry. After moving to the United States, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She continued caring for pediatric patients in private practice before completing her Pediatric Dentistry residency at Cooper University Hospital. Her training included both hospital and private practice settings, where she treated children of all ages and a wide range of dental needs. She now lives in South Jersey with her family.
Dr. Yani is passionate about helping children feel comfortable, confident, and even excited about going to the dentist. She believes that creating positive, stress-free experiences early on helps children build healthy habits and confident smiles that last a lifetime. She enjoys building long-term relationships with families and creating a welcoming environment where both children and parents feel genuinely cared for. Her professional interests include preventive and restorative dentistry, dental trauma, sedation, and minimally invasive pediatric care.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Yani enjoys connecting with families from diverse backgrounds and helping parents feel informed and at ease throughout their child’s dental care. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys staying active, spending time with her husband, two children, and three dogs, and making the most of family life in South Jersey. As both a pediatric dentist and a mom, she understands how important it is for children to feel safe, supported, and comfortable during their visits. She looks forward to welcoming families to Gleam Pediatric and Orthodontics and helping children develop healthy, confident smiles.
Dr. Anna Lam
(Associate, Pediatric Dentist)
Dr. Anna is a board-certified pediatric dentist who is passionate about creating positive, comfortable dental experiences for children of all ages. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed her two-year pediatric dental residency through NYU Langone in Providence, Rhode Island.
In addition, Dr. Anna is a Rhode Island Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Other Related Disabilities Training Fellow, reflecting her dedication to caring for children with diverse needs and helping every child feel safe, supported, and understood during their visit.
Dr. Anna believes in gentle, patient-centered care and loves working closely with families to make dental visits educational, comfortable, and even fun. She is committed to staying current with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry so she can continue providing the highest level of care to her patients.
Outside the office, Dr. Anna enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband, going on walks with her dog, Sheep, and spending time with family and friends.
